Cota tinctoria n’a pas toujours des fleurs en languettes. Si elle en poss\u00e8de elles sont jaunes. La fleur (le r\u00e9ceptacle) se gonfle et le reste apr\u00e8s la fin de la floraison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cota, en tant que genre, se distingue pour les plantes fran\u00e7aises par la forme de l’\u00e9caille (de la petite bract\u00e9e) axillant les fleurs du r\u00e9ceptacle. De mani\u00e8re plus g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, elle semble devoir beaucoup se distinguer en raison de la d\u00e9pression dorso-ventrale de sa graine, parmi un groupe au sein des anthemideae: voir \u00e0 Anthemis arvensis<\/a> pour un groupe de plantes morphologiquement proches. Pour Cota, Cota altissima et Cota triumfetti porte un risque de confusion \u00e0 l’int\u00e9rieur de ce groupe dans l’Hexagone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tomentum soyeux sur jeunes rameaux pas vraiment l\u00e0, les capitules sont plut\u00f4t grand (i.e: languettes longues). Ce qui exclue la sous-esp\u00e8ce australis. Ici, cultivar probable, et donc taxon sans doute issu de la sous esp\u00e8ce autonyme, ou encore cette sous esp\u00e8ce autonyme. Ce cas est en attente d’\u00e9tudes plus pouss\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plantes de friches thermophiles, de terrils. Ici, le port dress\u00e9 + les fleurs en languettes indiquerait une origine cultiv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
